Website launches as a job board for the CNC machining industry

Launched in February, hireCNC is a website that helps streamline the job seeking and hiring process for CNC-related jobs by connecting CNC machining jobs seekers with employers.
Applicants, such as CNC machinists, now have a single platform to find career opportunities. The website shows who is hiring and what positions are available. Employers (machine shops) also now have a job board whose audience is completely dedicated to CNC machining.
"hireCNC was founded with the mission of better connecting CNC tradespeople with employers," said Jon House, CEO/co-founder of hireCNC. "Machine shops everywhere are constantly struggling to recruit, hire, and then retain skilled labour. When hiring on non-industry-specific job boards, significant time can be wasted sifting through resumes with no relevant experience in CNC machining. With hireCNC, we are removing the fluff and providing a more niche and quality experience for both the applicant and the employer."
The website is focused on CNC-related jobs in Canada and the U.S., and upon launch there were approximately 8,700 jobs on the site.
"We have been actively developing hireCNC for over a year and will continue to develop the platform to fit the needs of our audience," said House. "Ultimately, hireCNC is working to remove the friction in hiring. CNC machinists do not have much trouble today finding work due to the demand of the position, but for the employer there is a significant amount of effort and wasted time with recruiting, screening, and hiring. hireCNC will provide both the employer and the applicant with a higher quality experience."
